OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF "BE-A-HERO!"
 

Hello STAND family and friends! We have had such a tremendous and powerful year! We’ve had the opportunity to visit HUNDREDS of schools all over the country in 2011! Our assembly has taught the youth major principals and core values with powerful feats of strength!

It is with great pleasure that we introduce our NEW elementary school curriculum, "Be-A-Hero!" With this, we have developed two superheroes, STAND MAN and STAND GIRL. With the excitement of our new heroes and simple curriculum we are teaching elementary aged children to be a hero and not a bully! The seven principles we teach that will enable them to be a hero are as follows:

1) I WILL NOT BULLY OTHERS!
2) I WILL RESPECT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE!
3) I WILL TELL A GROWN UP WHEN SOMEONE IS BEING MEAN OR PICKING ON OTHERS!
4) I WILL RESPECT AND LISTEN TO MY TEACHERS AND PARENTS!
5) I WILL BE ON THE LOOKOUT; I WILL HELP PEOPLE IN NEED!
6) I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEBODY TODAY!
7) I WILL SHOW AND LEAD OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!
When you follow these seven steps, you can Be-A-Hero too!!!

The positive response from teachers, principals and superintendents has been incredible! This has been such an effective tool as we continue to reach our nation’s youth!

We will soon be adding our "Be-A-Hero" t-shirts and official "STAND HERO" capes to our online store! Christmas is right around the corner, don’t forget to order a t-shirt and cape for your “Hero!”

Would you like to be a part of our anti-bullying campaign? In our history, we have never denied a school an assembly due to lack of funding. Our break even to fund an assembly is $800. As you can imagine, this puts a financial strain on the team. You will be helping us get the message you just read about into every public school in North America!
